At this price point for Australian Nebbiolo, this is exactly the wine you should be drinking. Varietally on song with those Piedmontese hues, tones and architecture Nebbiolo drinkers know so well. It is has levity and ripe brightness with savoury and dried herb complexity. There is an ease that is made for the table and drinking now with friends! Fine and lithe, shimmy of drying, dusty tannins, succulent, red berry freshness, white pepper, green herb, a touch of alpine herb, a little tomato leaf too. Spicy as well. Grip and pucker. It’s really well done, super refreshing, trim and pure. Distinctly nebbiolo but delivered at the lighter and gluggable end without scrimping on perkiness and chomp. Yes and yes and yes. 94 pts, Mike Bennie, The Wine Front
