Ten Minutes By Tractor 'Judd' Pinot Noir 2025

Judd Pinot has a lot to offer. It is unapologetically a new-world Pinot, offering generous layers of primary fruit in the mulberry and cranberry flavour spectrum. It has a generosity to its profile and plenty of substance to its mid-palate. Most impressive though is the tannin structure here. Imogen calls it ripe seed tannin, explaining that the beautiful growing season allowed for a slow and gentle ripening, bringing good natural sugars to the fruit but just as importantly, a ripeness to the seeds. The tannin is fine but certainly present and is a real hallmark of the wine. To me it brings clear structure (and therefore longevity) and is a great indication of quality. – Ches Cook, Five Way Cellars.
