65/35% chardonnay/pinot noir; 4.5g/L dosage, 75 months on lees, disgorged Feb '22. Based off the 2015 vintage with 17% reserve wines. Turned apples, glac? pears, Anzac biscuits and warmed lemon curd. Puckering and ever-present chardonnay acidity with white nectarine and a blush crab apple mid-palate. The lower dosage sits well with the fruit presence and biscuity yeast notes. Delightful drinking now but will age gracefully. 96 points, James Halliday.
