Unreal length on the palate for a rose. This is one terrific wine. Crunnchy acidity and herb notes with the joy of tart red fruits. Very complex. For a bit of fun, put it nexyt to Tempier Bandol Rose! Then appreciate the value here. Ian Cook, FWC.

Rosé made with grenache, mataro and cinsault, vine age ranging from 25-90 years, mostly dry grown, hand picked, hand pruned.

You get some earth and spice notes here and the general impression is of savoury dryness, though raspberry, watermelon, grapefruit and citrus characters keep an impression of fruit ticking over. This is pale, dry and more-ish; it presents exactly as you’d hope it to. Drink 2024-2027. 92 Points. Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front.
