5% whole bunches; co-fermented with 5% viognier. Matured in 500L French oak (25% new). Deep purple. Aromas of dark cherry, blackcurrant pastilles, violets and white pepper can all be found in the concentrated, multi-faceted bouquet. It's voluptuous without being heavy on the palate. The flavours go on and on, as do the fine-grained and exceptionally persistent tannins. It's balanced enough to drink now but it will also reward 10 years, or more, in your cellar. Super wine.
