Poggerino Chianti Classico 2024

Another very good release from Poggerino. A dark fruit profile but only medium bodied, this shows spiced black cherry, bright acidity and blue florals. There's a hint of earthy rusticity and a pleasantly savoury back palate. It's got nice flow and feel across the palate. Followers of Poggerino over the years can happily jump on this with confidence. - Ches Cook, Five Way Cellars.
A perfumed and floral wine with aromas of sweet violets, lush red cherries, licorice and a touch of earth. Medium-bodied, crunchy and firm, with velvety tannins, crisp acidity, tight juicy length and a chewy finish. From organically grown grapes. 92 points, James Suckling.
