Pira Chiara Boschis Langhe Nebbiolo 2023
‘Classic Chiara’ with super fresh floral notes (really lifted) bright red berries, red licorice with crushed flowers. This could easily be Barolo in sheer quality terms. Yes it’s a little lighter than Chira’s Baroli, yet all the fragrance, the energy, elegance and persistence are there. Super fine chalky tannins to close. Highly recommended as a quality nebbiolo to learn the ropes from. Quite a bit of the fruit comes from young vines in Cru Barolo vineyards.
