Pira e Figli 2022 Barolo Via Nuova is a blend of fruit from various prestigious sites long under the stewardship of this estate, assembled carefully to deliver exceptional balance and tension. Delicate layers of dark fruit, pressed rose, blood orange and grilled herb unfold with precision, and although some wines from 2022 show extra tannic firmness, this wine is instead gracefully silky and elongated, offering a sense of ethereal lightness alongside notable depth.
