The certified organic Chiara Boschis - E. Pira e Figli 2022 Barolo Mosconi is balanced and tight, yet it delivers some of the more shapely and enriched qualities of this warm vintage, especially on the palate. The wine is ethereal and focused, with a detailed aromatic profile of blackcurrant, blue flower and a touch of garden herb. Sweet tannins are expertly tucked in, lending needed structure and angularity without ever feeling dry or bitter, with Mosconi’s sun-exposed slopes in Monforte d’Alba contributing to the wine’s depth and polished concentration. 2027 – 2050. 95 Points, Monica Larner.

Precision, power & poise. Mosconi is always one of the most powerful Cru wines from Monforte d’Alba. In the warm year of 2022 Great Mosconi is characterised by its quality & personality, power & balance. Its dense & ample. If buying the 2022, buy a bottle of the 2018.
