Pietradolce Etna Bianco 2023

Pietradolce sits high on the slopes of Mt Etna with its ‘sweet stone’ minerality derived from the volcanic soil and the cool nights and warm days endowing the wines with a precision, richness, minerality, fragrance and depth unique to this microclimate. The Bianco is made from 100% Carricante – an indigenous variety of Sicily (and especially Mt Etna). This wine is drop dead gorgeous! Beautiful saline freshness with lemon, grapefruit rind, lemon pith, yellow and white florals and wonderfully textured minerality. It's great length stays and stays. I wish I was there.
