Mount Pleasant Rosehill Shiraz 2022
$48
WAS $60. NOW PRICED AT 20% OFF = $48 a bottle.
Dried roses, boysenberry and classic Rosehill Shiraz character, but with a deeper more rugged, peppery and earthy cast. Medium-bodied, tannin slightly tough, red and blue fruit, pepper and spice, baked raspberry, and a slightly raw finish, but length is solid. It’s a bit closed in as a young wine but should turn out pretty well. It’s a nice wine all up, from a more difficult vintage. 92+ points, drink 2025-2036+, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.
