94/6% sauvignon blanc/semillon, separately vinified; hand picked, whole-bunch pressed, cultured yeast seeded, fermentation in stainless steel controlled to a maximum of 20C; at the halfway mark transferred to French barriques (6% new) to complete fermentation and full mlf; matured in barrel for nine months. It is a wine that takes no prisoners, its complexity and depth proving yet again that Margaret River holds all the cards for this blend, both now or in 10 years time.  95 points, drink 2024-2034, James Halliday.
