MMAD Grenache 2023

The 2023 release is a very nice mix of jubey playfulness with structure. The front half of the wine shows an array of pretty red fruit and nice perfume, followed by a back-palate that displays dried herb/garrigue with grippy, graphite-like tannin. The green olive and Mediterranean herb component is particularly appealing. Note that we tried this wine after it had been opened for numerous hours. By some reports, this wine needs a good decant and plenty of oxygen if opening and drinking immediately. - Ches Cook, Five Way Cellars.
