Mee Godard Beaujolais Villages Magnum 2023

Yet again, Mee Godard delivers in quality Beaujolais and importantly, manages to keep the price reasonable while many others have now cleared the $100 mark. This wine is juicy and lively and 'genuine'. By that I mean it really sings of Beaujolais, with plump fruit, a savoury undercurrent and a faint lick of tannin. A very enjoyable drink. A few magnums of this down the table at Christmas time would work very well and would be a great match with the Christmas ham.  Ches Cook, FWC.
