Marnong Estate Chardonnay 2025

A new discovery in the shop for us this year from the Sunbury wine region just outside Melbourne (home to Craiglee). Toasty, reductive, very well balanced fruit richness and grapefruit acidity you'd expect to see in a Margaret River Chardonnay. Medium bodied with a mineral edge and lemon pith texture. Punching well above it's price point with very good length, recommended. Cameron Roebuck, FWC.

A medium-bodied Chardonnay of depth and character – elegant, savoury and true to the cool-climate Sunbury style.

Appearance: Pale to medium straw colour.
Aroma: Ripe citrus and white peach with smoky French oak and subtle ginger spice.
Palate: Savoury mineral complexity with citrus fruit and a long, elegant finish.
Texture: Smooth and textural with well-integrated oak and bright acidity. Winery Note
