Mac Forbes 'Hugh' Cabernet Blend 2023

A blend of cabernet sauvignon/merlot/cabernet franc/petit verdot. A bright, medium crimson purple. An excellent follow up to the very good '22. Fragrant, with aromas of black cherry, gentle cigar box and a little tomato leaf. The palate is classically medium bodied and balanced with elegant tannins making for a wine that is most pleasurable to drink now and will remain so for at least the next five to seven years. 95 points. - Phillip Rich, Wine Companion.
