The Cuvee Carmen represents the blend of two vineyards located furthest the west of the village. The wine is characterized by aromas of blackberry and blueberry, accompanied by notes of currants. I very much like the texture of the equally polished and sleek medium-bodied flavors that also flash evident minerality on the tension-filled, youthfully austere and balanced finish that isn't quite as persistent.
