Lafouge Pommard 1er Cru ‘Les Chanlins’ 2022

A slightly riper yet again cool, airy, and elegant nose is comprised by notes of mostly dark berry liqueur and floral wisps, especially violet. The medium weight flavors aren’t quite as dense but they’re finer and with even more apparent minerality that emerges on the detailed, dusty, youthfully austere, and chalky finish.
