Joshua Cooper Light Red 2025
Stylistically inspired from the wines light reds of Tavel, in the South of France. The Light red is mostly a Shiraz & Pinot blend that feels effortless and confident. The fruit is composed and sits in a nice space of drinkability with Josh commenting it’s versatility with food makes it very commonly opened at home. Mitch Milicich, FWC
A very pretty wine, a festive sweeter red berry core with dashes of lesser sung spice, some brown, some pink, some floral, then the rose hip tea, the cranberry drink, with that bitterness, some saline minerality, alpine herbs and a kind of wild raspberry twang. The fruitiness could be tempered by more savoury elements and a shimmy of tannins would be nice, but in the end, the drinkability is all here, the playful nature of the wine writ large. A good time ahoy! 92 pts, Mike Bennie, The Wine Front
