Jasper Hill Nebbiolo 2023

A lovely medium ruby in the glass there's red cherries, musk and spearmint on the nose if initially they were a touch shy to reveal themselves.  In the medium to full bodied range it has all the hallmarks of the Nebbiolo structure of acidity and tannin with the tannin in particular mouth coating. Best with food and a few years in the cellar for those tannins to soften. Cameron Roebuck, FWC.

Superbly aromatic with wonderful perfume of roses, rhubarb, plums and anise spice. Tannins galore on the palate with up front plums, cherry and vanilla bean followed by chary oak and leather.  Enjoyable now but cellar this wine to enjoy its full potential. High grade cork sealed, 14.5% alcohol.. Winery's notes.
