A discreet application of wood sets off cool and layered aromas of the essence of white orchard fruit, citrus confit and acacia blossom. There is again fine richness to the medium-bodied flavors that retain better detail on the mineral-driven and focused finish that delivers sneaky good length. This isn't exactly chiseled but it's close and a wine that should repay up to a decade of keeping. OUTSTANDING. 91-93 points, Drink 2028+, Allen Meadows, Burghound.
