Ichnusa first opened it's brewery in Cagliari more than a century ago, in 1912, under the guidance of Amsicora Capra, among the most well-known entrepreneurs in Sardinia.
After the difficult period between the two World Wars, in 1945 they resumed productive activity and the beer became one of the symbols of renewed well-being. In 1963 started the project for a new brewery in Assemini, the first in Italy to install vertical cylinder-taper fermentation tanks.
