I Custodi 'Pistus' Etna Rosso 2021

Lot's going in this wine. At first, you're greeted by liqueur cherry and cola. Then there is a dusty, brown earth component, then flecks of dried herb appear. It's all there and all very composed and complete. Medium weighted and quite elegant as a whole. Recommended. - Ches Cook, FWC. 

80% Nerelllo Mascalese & 20% Nerello Cappucio. From Contrada Moganazzi on the Northern slope of Etna. A fresh & vibrant mid weight rosso. Savoury and spicy with light tannins, minerals, tobacco and rich red fruits. Can be served with a light chill or not. 7 days maceration on skins in s/steel tanks, Ageing: Stainless vats 9 months, min 2 months in bottle before release.
