Home Hill Estate Pinot Noir 2023

It's been a while since we had any Home Hill to sell! Home Hill has always been a highly awarded producer on the Australian wine judging scene.  Judges and the public alike favour the producer for their generous style, with ample fruit weight and an exotic bouquet. While it has often been the top wine 'Kelly's Reserve' that has been the most sought after, this 'Estate' wine ticks very similar boxes. We tried it in mid-August and found a good producer stamp on the wine, but with pleasingly bright acid to keep it fresh and lively. I don’t find it to be the most complex styler of wine, but people who seek juicy and well-rounded Pinot will find a lot to like here. – Ches Cook, FWC.
