Hewitson Ned & Henry's Shiraz 2023

... I have to say that I much prefer the more affordable offerings from Hewitson over their flagship wines.

Raspberry jubes and blackberry mingle with some more meaty, spicy, dried herb flavours. It’s medium-bodied, and while there’s plenty of sweet red fruit, there’s savoury elements to temper it. It offers thickness, and some freshness, a light chew to tannin, and a little radicchio bitterness with a saline edge on a finish of solid length. It’s a good wine.
