From vineyards between 600-800 metres with soils with a high content of clay and lime, this is fermented off skins at controlled temperature, mostly in stainless steel with 20% in old barriques and aged on lees for a few months for a fuller body and complexity.

In a screw-capped bottle, the Franz Haas 2022 Pinot Grigio is a classic expression of the grape, but instead of the dried grass aromas that you normally get, this vintage delivers richer tones of orange essence and orchard fruit. This partially oak-aged wine remains tight and linear, but there is a detour toward yellow fruits and sweetness on the close.
