Dujac Clos de la Roche Grand Cru 2020

This is aromatically similar to the Clos St. Denis but even more floral. Here too there is a wonderfully attractive mouthfeel on the powerful, muscular and vibrant broad-shouldered flavors that are not quite as dense but offer even more precision on the highly persistent finale where hint of coffee and bitter cherry emerge. This terrific effort is a blend of power and refinement and a wine that should age accordingly. Score: 95, Drink: 2038+., Allen Meadows, Burghound.
