Domenica Estate Shiraz 2021

Cherry and plum, distinct hazelnut and umami character, a little mint and oak spice. It’s medium-bodied, seaweed and roasted nutty character, kind of stony too, a subtle apricot perfume, with a chewy and savoury peppery finish of good length. New leather and spice, so saline and savoury, and distinctive in that way. Not fruity in the slightest; adult and earthy.  92 points, drink 2023-2030, Gary Walsh, Wine Front.
