Domaine de Trevallon IGP Alpilles Rouge 2023

Notes: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon & 50% Syrah. Trévallon is known for its long aging process, more than 2 years for its reds. Racking is kept to a strict minimum, the lees found at the bottom of the barrels continue to nourish the wine during the ageing process. No de-stemming, no added yeast or sulphur. Aged 24 months in foudres and barrels. Fining with fresh egg white. No filtration before bottling.

‘Floral blackcurrant and mint, a lovely fragrant nose. Medium-bodied, very fresh palate, balanced acidity and a chalky grip on the finish. Very textural from the whole bunches, almost rooty and chalky. Really delightfully fresh, terroir reflective, with great energy and vibrancy.
