A decidedly cool and restrained nose reluctantly exhibits its aromas of freshly crushed red berries, anise and lilac. The plump but agreeably punchy middleweight flavors display a more subtle bead of minerality that seems to become more prominent on the clean, moderately austere and equally chiseled finale.
