Dappled Limited Release ‘Tradition’ Cabernets 2022

95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc from vines planted in 1981. 

Is cool climate Cabernet having a comeback? I hope so, but I admit a fondness for styles such as this. Only medium bodied in weight, and reserved fruit set this as a perfect lunchtime claret. Typical cabernet aromas of cassis, blackberry, hints of red fruits, lifted tomato leaf and graphite. It's soft in the mid palate with sleek tannins, open for immediate enjoyment.
