Coriole Estate Shiraz 2021
$34
Bold, very juicy and ripe, lots of black fruit, aniseed, cocoa and milk tea, and some floral perfume. It’s full-bodied, a little ferrous, full of rich sweet dark fruit, raspberry juice acidity, a little too ripe and warm, and a kind of too overt in juicy fruit character, which shows the excess of a good vintage, perhaps to its detriment. May come good, hard to say. 90 points, drink to 2025-2035+. Gary Walsh, The Wine Front.
A classic of the Coriole style - try to keep some for a decade - will be super delicious. Ian Cook
