The 2019 Barolo Mosconi Vigna Ped shows all the depth that is typical of this site. A rush of dark red fruit, smoke, tar gravel, incense and crushed rose petals builds as the 2019 shows off its remarkable depth and textural intensity. There's real character and pedigree here. The Mosconi Cru is always big, bold and expansive & it does not disappoint. Tar and licorice in abundance and great balance. Yet I also see wafts of fragrant rose perfume raising its head saying I am beautiful and charming as well. You can see where the big scores are coming from. An outstanding 10-20 year wine.
