Christophe Patrice Chardonnay Vin De France 2021

A great new find. Christophe Patrice is based in the village of Beines, just 5 km from the town of Chablis. This wine is made from purchased fruit just outside the appellation of Chablis, and is labelled as "Vin De France".  It sure tastes like a terrific Petit Chablis to me. 100% tank fermented with lees added. It's beautifully saline with a green apple zip and a touch of melon. Dry, saline and mineral on the palate. Just as good - if not better than our favourite William Fevre Petit Chablis! Ian Cook, FWC.
