Chevillon Bourgogne Rouge 2022

Domaine Robert Chevillon is a big favourite among Five Way Cellars staff. Part of the love affair (for us younger staff, at least) started back in Covid days when we had a few staff-only wine tastings upstairs at the shop to keep morale high. Once of those tastings had a Burgundy theme and Jeremy arrived with a Chevillon Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Chaignots 2011. The wine was remarkable and certainly the wine of the night in a strong field.  A year later, I myself enjoyed the same wine from vintage 2015 which I found in a store in Japan and brought home to Sydney.
