Chatto 'Franklinii' Pinot Noir 2025

Fruit from two vineyards; Elsewhere and Panorama in the Huon Valley. Elsewhere vineyard is at latitude of 43 degrees south - Similar to Otago and Burgundy. Deeper and darker black and red cherry with stewed strawberry, hints of exotic spice, musk a rounder mid palate intensity. Dark plum and a great depth. The acid balance is there but in hiding. My favourite of the lineup when tasted on the 1st of June. Ian Cook, Five Way Cellars.
