Ceritas TBH Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2022

We jumped at the opportunity to source a few rows of Chardonnay from Paul and Kathryn Sloan?s densely planted home estate. Occupying a chilly portion of the Green Valley, TBH stands out amongst many well-regarded neighbours. Rigorous farming and thin, meagre soils allow the tiny Wente Clone Chardonnay clusters to retain fabulous intensity at shockingly low pHs.

This impeccably-farmed site on the outskirts of Sebastopol has yielded pristine, zippy Chardonnay for close to 15 years. Lemon peel and makrut lime cascade on the palate, with precise minerality and supple structure anchoring the fruit. TBH shows a similar compliment of citrus in the powerful bouquet.
