Nestled deep within the Santa Cruz Mountains' ancient redwood forests lies Mindego Ridge, a testament to the pioneering spirit of the Gollnick family.  Established in 2009, this meticulously farmed vineyard graces the remote, cool reaches of La Honda. The site shares this unique microclimate with only the Rhys Alpine Vineyard, merely a stone's throw away.

With a moment to breathe in the glass, this wine will reveal its finest qualities. The shimmering ruby wine is aromatically diverse, with the ubiquitous crunchy cranberries fighting for space with a powerful herbaceous influence from the stem inclusion. Dense, almost chewy open-knit tannins provide the structure for flavours of bing cherry, violet, and blood orange. Perfect balance of acid, even this young, love this. John Raytek (winemaker).
