Bass Phillip Estate Pinot Noir 2024

Fragrant potpourri of aromas, rose petals and red berry notes, with a hint of China tea; the very essence of Pinot Noir. A classic iron fist in a velvet glove palate. A lush fruit driven middle, enveloped by powdery tannins with delicious flavours that dance delicately across the palate - Winery Team.
Deep-ish red with subtle traces of purple; the first impression on the nose is of oak, giving a nutty/vanilla/chocolate note, while the palate is full and firm with solid tannin structure and quite concentrated fruit, still somewhat undeveloped and latent, needing time to fully express itself. It has depth and structure at the expense of charm at this stage. Certainly worth cellaring. 92 Points. Huon Hooke, The Real Review.
