The 2015 Methode Traditionelle Grand Vintage comprises 65% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir. "We aim to blend it for the seamlessness on the palate." says winemaker Ed Carr. Seven years on lees, and the wine is fresh, creamy and very fine. It's complex, rounded and plump, lighter in color than the Blanc de Blanc vintage from the same year tasted beside it, which I find interesting. This is mouthfilling, long and chalky. I love the complexity in the mouth, and the way the wine feels. It's very, very good. 12.5% alcohol, sealed under cork. 95 points. - Erin larkin, Wine Advocate.
