Aldo Conterno 'Cicala' Barolo 2017

One of my favourite Barolo's  - with suitable bottle age - 20 years is good - you are in heaven. In the past two years have enjoyed much pleasure from the 1996 and 1999 vintages. Ian Cook, FWC.

A solid, powerful style, this expressive red is well-marked by new oak, with plum, cherry, cigar box, menthol and sun-kissed hay flavours. Balanced and lively, with refined tannins and a long, spice infused finish. Best from 2025 through 2042. 95 Points. Bruce Sanderson, The Wine Spectator.
