The 2023 Hoheburg Ruppertsberg P.C. opens with an intense and elegant yet quite upfront bouquet of ripe and stewed apricots and mirabelles intertwined with flinty notes. Full-bodied, intense and mineral on the vital yet still a little muted palate, this is an elegant and finely juicy as well as savory Riesling that is long, tight and intensely aromatic as well as sustainably structured from the warm, red sandstone terroir. 12.5% stated alcohol. Diam 30 cork. Tasted at the domaine in January 2025.
