100 % Viognier. Just 2 barrels from this first vintage made from vines in this prime location in the village of Chavanay just south of Château Grillet. The soil here is Biotite Granite (like Château Grillet) which imparts wonderful freshness and texture to the wine. Barrel fermented and matured for 15 months in 2 older barriques it shows excellent concentration, great length and the superb minerality of only the very finest Condrieu. Only 50 dozen produced.
