Whole bunch pressed to tank, settled for 24 hours then racked to barrel for ferment, 24% new French Oak (Sirugue) for 12 months.
'The nose is incredibly inviting and "pastry-led," blending the zesty brightness of lemon curd with a luxurious, nutty complexity. Deeply aromatic notes of toasted almond, marzipan, and frangipane tart create a rich, gourmand opening that showcases the wine’s sophisticated cool-climate profile. On the palate, the wine is seamless and highly textural, characterized by the buttery warmth of fresh croissants and the concentrated sweetness of orange marmalade. Its powerful yet poised structure is defined by refined, integrated oak tannins and a resonating citrus finish that provides a long, elegant conclusion.' Anna Pooley, Winemaker.
