Paul Nicolle Chablis Vieilles Vignes 2021

2021 was a cracking vintage for Chablis and white Burgundy, but most importers have moved through their 2021 stock and are on 2022s and even 2023s. So I was surprised to be offered some 2021. Better yet, the wine is a cracker, and potentially even better than upon release, now with three years in bottle. This is classic Chablis: chiselled and chalky with a salt-crusted rim to the fruit.
