Mount Horrocks Cordon Cut Riesling 375ml 2024

This classic sweet wine of Mount Horrocks is powerful, deeply scented and flavoured. Lots of creme brûlée, toffee apple, sugared almonds, mandarin marmalade and cumquat freshness. A bit of truffle and white mushroom in there, too. Layers and slickness in texture, though the finish finds a brightness underlying. Decadent, but very well balanced.
