Marnong Estate Chardonnay 2024

A new discovery in the shop from the Sunbury wine region just outside Melbourne (home to Craiglee). Toasty, reductive, very well balanced fruit richness and grapefruit acidity you'd expect to see in a Margaret River Chardonnay. Medium bodied with a mineral edge and lemon pith texture. Punching well above it's price point with very good length, recommended. Cameron Roebuck, FWC.
