Littorai Thieriot Chardonnay 2021

I first tasted the 2021 Chardonnay B.A. Thieriot Vineyard in early 2023, and it's offering just as much energy and tension today. From vines planted in 1996, it has bright aromas of yellow apples, creme fraiche, almonds, honey and toast with undertones of chalk and oyster shell. The light-bodied palate is silky and ethereal with a weightless feel despite its concentrated, mineral-driven flavors.
