Littorai Les Larmes Pinot Noir 2023

As devotees will know, the Les Larmes is one of two different regional blends offered by the estate. 25% of the final blend comes from declassified vineyard designate lots: Savoy, Cerise, One Acre, Roman and Wendling Vineyard. 15% is press wine from these same sources. 35% is from a separate block at Wendling which is dedicated to this bottling and 25% comes from our newly acquired estate vineyard in the hills above Boonville where the One Acre parcel lies. Elevage lasts for 11 months and as Lemon notes, while the wines will age wonderfully for a few years, it’s not intended they be cellared for longer. They are intended for early consumption.
