Made from Sicilian lemons, from two picks separated by a month, with the intent of blending the energy of the earlier pick with the greater concentration of the second pick. The production method here calls for a combination of macerated whole lemons and distilled lemon zest. In tasting, the Citron is super-rich and concentrated, but with inner beams of brightness that cut through the fruit. Lemon confit, sage, lemongrass, mint and sweet floral accents abound.
